Zach’s criminal defense work has included winning a new trial for a wrongfully convicted man who spent 27 years on death row and obtaining the dismissal of charges against another wrongfully convicted man whose conviction was overturned for Brady violations.
Peter taught business law and business ethics for nearly three decades at the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business—first as an adjunct professor beginning in 1995 and later as an Assistant Professor–Educator of Accounting starting in 2013. He “hung up his teaching spikes” in early 2022, but before leaving the profession was honored to receive the college’s highest teaching distinction, the Michael L. Dean Excellence in the Classroom Award, in 2018.
He is also a frequent speaker and author on topics including non-compete agreements, workplace investigations, employee handbooks, and executive employment contracts.
